Knowing they were destined to rise after death as powerful and destructive Dreadknights, the brothers chose to confide in their dwarven allies and asked to be sealed away by both physical and magical means to protect the world and their people from themselves. To the rest of the world, they simply disappeared, and their loyal regent, Suul, performed his duty to the realm in their absence. A decade after assuming the regency, Suul was attacked by a vampire and turned.

There, he devoted his time to locating the tomb of his masters and eventually found them under the Citadel of the Allfather. Suul broke the magical seals to reclaim their bodies and unknowingly released the Dreadknight triumvirate.
Now that Jeffers and his brothers have returned, they are bent on reclaiming the throne that will never accept them and using the Soulforge to break the curse placed upon them by Inferion. In breaking the curse, King Jeffers, Eid, and Erom may die a true death. Suul, once regent of the Ultan Empire, now serves as a powerful vampire sorcerer in Jeffers’ army, wielding dark magic to support the Dreadknights’ cause.
