High King Silvas is the only living ruler in Kirth to have faced Inferion, not just once, but twice as ruler, and a third time serving as a Bladedancer in his predecessor's retinue. He is shrewd and strategic by nature, and through experience. As a result of the previous wars, when Silvas ascended to rule, he swiftly instituted martial training for all elves daily. Those under a millenium of age have never known a time when waking to the sound of arrows striking targets, rather than the crowing of a rooster, was abnormal. All of elven society under his leadership has integrated the terrible beauty of war as easily as the natural beauty around them. Most elves alive today have spent more time in training than the entire lifespan of the lesser races. Silvas maintains close relations with all the races of light, though for the first time, his lands are being assailed by an emergent Warking of the Orcs while simultaneously martialing for the inevitable invasion by Inferion. The elven armies are prepared, however. Their Rangers are by far the greatest in Kirth, their clerics enchant allies, and their Bladedancers are an inspiration to all. Silvas, himself, sings the battlesong of the elves in unison with his retinue, a song which their foes know all to well to fear upon hearing.
